Here I Come...

Sorry for the short posts these days, I've got a few things on my plate.

I leave my hometown for the last 6 years tomorrow night for a complete body transplant into the land of Kimchi and Misunderstanding. I've said a lot of goodbyes in the last 24 hours, some painful, some relieving and some downright mystifying. But in all of it I have the faith and confidence of the inspired, so I leave you tonight with a few things both melancholy and hopeful.

See you on the Dark Side

  1. I think you should keep them like a midget dipped in sugar. Short and sweet.

  2. Ha! Thanks Hannibal (Yes I've given you a nickname too. Hope you watched the A Team, cause that's what I'm calling your family now. One guess who your wife is.) I needed that. I always wanted to write, but I hate repeating myself, so it's a bit difficult to construct anything longer than a few sentences.

  3. Try to forget all of the bullshit that you've read online. Make your own Korea. Don't let all of that negative shit get too you. You can buy booze at convenience stores 24/7. That's just lovely.

  4. Don't suppose you know where I can get a good bottle of Scotch Burn? Btw I learned a while ago to swear off the Dave's crowd. Tolkien (ImNoPicasso) and Elton (John) (My Rose Colored View of This World) have actualy been a bastion of positivity that have renewed my enthusiasm and burned off a little of my deeply ingrained cynicism of late (thanks guys). I'm wired and ready to get this rocket off the ground

  5. So, I have no idea who any of those people are, but if it has something to do with the A Team, I should be Mr. T. Obviously.

  6. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot fighting!!!

That flight will be one of those 18-24 hour life changing experiences that you will always look back on. As I'm sure you know already.

Gie us a shoot when you touchdown, after you've had your whirlwind hotel/motel/school/try-this-kimchi-is-korean-very-important-food tour. I'll come round your way and show you how to find Scotch for a million bazillion dollars at your local 마트. 잘 가!
